Academics there are quite good. We have every subject advanced and taught in innovative ways. The teachers are quite average. There are some nice teachers while others are a bit more unjust. The clubs there are exquisite! We have Latin, Health, Lego Robotics, Vex Robotics, Makerspace, and more! The school culture is quite good as well. We have something called LYP which is an abreviation for Love Your People. With LYP it rewards us for good behaviors and gives us good punishments for bad ones. Starting with the critiques, STEM has a pretty bad facility. The building is decades old and had questionable tasting water and plumbing. The safety of our school is quite questionable as well. We've had multiple threats come to the school. There have also been multiple fights. Overall as a school I would consider STEM very good. It's the best middle school in Chatham County....
